Alyssa's B-day-- Flashback

Alyssa turns 9----back in March. I took pictures with my phone and these are not in order.

Amber ran the games. They played a game called "Vaseline race". Each girl dips her nose into Vaseline on one plate and dips her nose in the next plate of cotton balls and runs from the table to the chair and shakes it off as fast as she can while the next girl is dipping her nose. It was really funny!

Amber made Alyssa's cake and my friend Rebekah helped with some tips.
She did a great job!
Amber and Alyssa also did the decorations.

Amber and Rebekah

Alyssa and I went shopping for special cowgirl invitations. I put shinny stars to cover our personal information for posting these on the blog for the world to see ;)

Before it was finished. It was a tasty cake!!
She had a great time and we were worn out at the end!

Sweet time with friends

I am making this a quick post. I have more to work on. This is a flashback! From 4th of July. Our friends cam over to eat and play. We all had a great time, especially the kids.

The kids got creative and put the slide in the kiddy pool
Jason and Stephen
Jenn and David
Amber made cupcakes and created an American Flag with them.
Madison LOVED the cupcakes! There is hardly a food she doesn't like.

Michael's got moves!

Our Michael has got some moves (gets it from his momma)!

Daddy and Michael

Grandma Sheila sent Michael a police uniform. It was a perfect find! He loves it and feels just like daddy. He currently lives in his new "uniform" and he arrests several of his siblings on a daily basis. So here are my men I will share with you, enjoy the pictures! I had fun doing a mini shoot with them.

Happy Anniversary (10 years!) & Easter 2011

On April 21st, 2011 Jason and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary! Last summer we had begun talking and looking into making plans to celebrate by getting away together on a cruise. Neither of us have been but due to positive pregnancy test and the arrival of our new family member we decided to share this year's very special anniversary with our children. Jason and the kids made homemade Gnocchi's and steamed veggies, however he got so busy he forgot to thaw the chicken for dinner haha! So, in addition to dinner by candlelight, Jason took the time while David and I were sleeping to pick through some pictures that would date from the beginning until now and randomly place them throughout the table. It's one of the most creative ideas I have seen yet! It made for great memories, sweet stories, smiles, and laughter and the best part of all...we finally have a table with chairs we can all fit at haha! AND, I'd like to point out it's our first real set! We didn't sit at it the first few nights, it was too pretty to look at, and well, we have kids!

Anyhow--His idea lead me to have an idea. We broke out the home videos, could not find our wedding video at the time, and we had a million laughs including me getting annoyed with my own commentary on these videos trying to get Alyssa to talk for grandparents when she was a little bitty thing....guess I can talk a lot....geesh! Enjoy the pictures and the Easter pictures below!

HAPPY EASTER! David and I are not in these pictures because we did not go to church. Still recovering from the C-section and David being just a few days old we stayed home. Enjoy the pictures, they were taken in our back yard.

This one has to be my favorite.

Our girls are growing up so fast. And they would not stop talking to take pics.

My favorite people in the entire world! Not to forget little David whom I am holding while taking pictures.

Hope y'all enjoyed the post.
With much love, Rebecca
