Well, we wrap up last week with a smile and some laughter. On Friday Jason played with the boys and handcuffed them. They were so excited to be the bad guy lol. But first we will start with Amber being kidnapped. This was all I expected it to be....lots of drama!
Here is where we begin. Amber is officially a YOUTH now! How did this happen so fast? If you don't already know, we are members of Wedgwood Baptist Church. The leaders sent a letter to all the parents asking permission to kidnap our kids for breakfast. We made Amber get up at 6am and boy was she cranky! She demanded to know what was going on. She was soon to find out....hee-hee.
This was not a happy teenager!
Next--the bus showed up, I opened the door, and Lisa Jackson came running in and Amber screamed "What?!... Okay, now I'm scared!" and before she could finish her sentence Lisa snatched her up and she screamed "MOMMIE, MOMMIE HELP ME!!!!!" and screamed all the way out to the bus!
Excuse my pictures, I was holding Madison and trying to take pics....Jason was holding Michael and Michael was laughing. He thought it was funny.
This is my favorite picture! AND the reason she is already dressed is because Jason and I made a mistake. She was supposed to remain in bed and they were supposed to wake her up...oh well. At least she had no idea what was going on anyway. Jason said it was just as well since she shares a room with Alyssa...however, Alyssa can sleep through anything!

I think Madison and I were thinking the same thing here hahaha
Jason took this picture of me....the reason it's so bright is because this is my halo shining all around me....sweet... innocent.... me... hahahaha (right)

Our first week
This week Amber and I started baby sitting. So far this week as gone pretty well considering Amber got sick, but I have kept up with things pretty well. Homeschooling will bring about it's own set of challenges but I am ready to fulfill the commitments I have made to home school our kids, our Friends three kids, and care for them. They are like family to us so I am thankful for this opportunity to try something new and to help them out as well. Also, the boys call me Aunt Rebecca. I feel like they are my little nephews.
Madison pulled the toy on her bouncy seat for the for the first time this week. She worked pretty hard. She will soon have her motor skills learning more and more. Michael is having a language explosion lately but I will save those for a special post about him and celebrating his 2nd birthday.
Michael loves to help around the house....although, this isn't quite what I had in mind at the time hahaha.
We started some school work with the boys. Amber decided to do an educational craft with them. She called it the "Alphabet Tree"...I am very proud of her she was creative and did a great job with them. Tom is 5 and holding the red tree and Grant is 3. His favorite color is orange.
Michale loves to play with and help take care of Wilson. Michael is a paci supporter. He is slowly weening himself though.
This is a random pic but Amber saw this at a neighbor's house and told me she found her dream car in her favorite color so she took a picture hahaha! All she kept saying is "That's such a sweet car! I want one!".
Michael trying to feed Wilson. He is very nurturing.
And lastly, the kids had fun destroying the living room making a tent and playing all sorts of games. They did very well cleaning it up when asked too.
It's Thursday and I will most likely make the effort to blog weekly on Sat mornings. I think this will help me stay committed with a routine.
