David Paul Spencer- Our Quiver is Full!

Welcome to the Family, David!
Born--April 13th, 2011--12:53pm- 7lbs 8oz 21 inches long

The first few pictures are Mobile pics and kind of grainy because I am exhausted and on meds. We are very proud parents and Jason is a wonderful husband! As a mom, my cup overflows and as a wife, I couldn't be any happier with the love I feel from my husband working very hard to take care of me and meet my needs! I respect him so much! I'd love to write more but I'm super tired! Enjoy the pictures, we miss you all so much, and wish we could have a family David party!

A very proud daddy!

Such a sweet face.
On our way home.

I love how he is smiling after nursing. He is snuggled up on mommie.

I feel head over heels for his little toes! hahaha

SO PROUD OF AMBER!! She stepped up to the plate to take on responsibility that wasn't hers to take on. She did a great job with the little ones and is in love with our newest addition.
Beautiful young lady! Growing up so fast!
Jason had the kids make me and David a Welcome home banner! They hung it in the breakfast nook. Brought tears to my eyes to come home to so much love, goodies, and a CLEAN HOUSE!
I LOVE THIS MAN!!!

I think David looks like Michael and Madison in this picture. I can see both of them.

Our Quiver is FULL and my babies make my heart smile! Madison wasn't so thrilled at first.

His first bath and he didn't like it. AND he peed and pooed for the nurse who said..."I've been doing this a long time and haven't had one do this yet" lol
As the doctor was cutting the cord and David was peeing on him, all I heard him say was "Hey, point that thing over there!" Then he peed on the nurse.

Was prepped, bored, and waiting for surgery (which I'm not fond of)
That's it for now folks.

We celebrated 9 years of Marriage

On April 21st, Rebecca and I celebrated 9 years of marriage with a special breakfast of crepes (we learned to make them from watching the Food Network). The kids joined us and Amber and Alyssa enjoyed coffee with us, feeling grown up. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful woman. Rebecca has been my true joy these last 9 years. We have been through a lot and have weathered a few storms together, but I feel our love is stronger than ever. She deserves a much more lavish celebration than this, but I gotta say . . . the crepes were pretty dang good.

To my sweetheart, I say:

I am still magnetized.
You are still my true north.

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

Our Alyssa is 8 years old! So far she has had an exciting year. She played on a team in Upwards basketball for the first time this year. Their uniforms were blue and orange (shhh... don't tell Cameron bout these Auburn colors haha). Her last game was last Saturday and she made TWO baskets!! It was so much fun and we can't wait to do basketball again next year!

Alyssa-you have brought so much joy to our family. Daddy and I are so blessed God gave you to us to love, nurture, educate, and raise you up in a Godly home and in an awesome Godly church! We have watched you grow physically and spiritually and we know God has wonderful things in store for you and for your life to help further the kingdom of Christ in the years to come. We are so proud of you in everything you do. The world would be a better place if more people were like you. We pray God will fill you with his spirit as you continue to love others the way Christ loves you. Happy Birthday My Sweet Baby Girl!! (pink just for you).

She got some new clothes. She LOVED this dress! The smudge on her face is Ice Cream haha.

Jason and I never liked High Tops when they were in style and still don't but our girls love them.

Grandma and Poppy's card.

She wanted a totally different kind of cake this year. I found a $2 heart shaped pan at walmart and bought cookie dough then added ice cream balls with candles...it was fun to do with her and definitely different.

Madison somehow put a cracker on her head and it was stuck and she kept laughing at us. She is so sweet and too cute for her own good!

And now for our Basketball girl!! Lady Eagles!! YAY! WHOOHOO! Okay, so I get a little excited....it's the competitor in me ;p

I will work on some new pics soon!

February 2010 Snow! Lots of it!

Hello sweet family! I'm sorry this is late. Here is the most snow we have seen in TX since we moved here five years ago. Fort Worth hit a record of about 10 inches of snow. I was so beautiful! We enjoyed every minute of it. Enjoy the pictures and I am working on my next post about Alyssa's birthday.
